As of February 2025. ACGC is seeking to hire three Child and Family Therapists (bilingual preferred), an Infant and Early Childhood (IEC) Individual and Family Therapist, and a bilingual Client Service Specialist.
Three Child And Family Therapist (bilingual preferred): The therapist will be responsible for providing individual and/or family psychotherapy services and may provide clinical supervision to up to two (2) interns. Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Provide individual and family services to a caseload of up to 24 clients; at least 50% of clients will be seen in-person and up to 50% may be seen virtually.
- See 4 to 5 clients per day; appointment times determined by assigned A or B schedule.
- Utilize clinical knowledge and skills to provide evidence-based psychotherapy/counseling services to a diverse clinical population utilizing a variety of treatment modalities.
- Conduct initial evaluation sessions, which include psychosocial assessment, risk assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Work collaboratively with clients and family members to set realistic and measurable goals.
- Adjust session times (within business hours) or settings (in-person/virtual) upon supervisor's request to meet client needs.
- Complete all agency documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) within 24 hours of the provided services.
- At the discretion of supervisor, may assume responsibilities for other duties.
Infant and Early Childhood Program Supervisor: The IEC Therapist Supervisor is responsible for providing administrative and clinical supervision to all IEC therapists in addition to providing mental health consultation, individual observation, and educational trainings to identified childcare centers. Duties and responsibilities includes:
- Provides weekly administrative and clinical supervision to IEC therapists.
- Ensures all clinical services are documented in a complete and timely manner.
- Supervises the IEC Program Coordinator to ensure grant outcomes are met.
- Collaborates with leadership to on strategic growth of the program.
- Collaborates with the Grants Team on applications for funding and required reporting, including monitoring visits.
- Provides mental health consultation to identified childcare centers.
- Conducts individual observations of children at childcare centers, as needed, in order to provide feedback to child’s teachers and family on the child’s functioning, and to assess the need for additional services such as a psychological assessment.
- Provides educational trainings to childcare staff and parents addressing the social emotional needs of children ages 0-5.
- Completes all agency documentation requirements in a timely manner.
- Adheres to agency Policy and Procedures.
- Some services may be provided offsite in community settings. Therefore, a valid driver’s license, automobile insurance coverage and access to an automobile are required.
- At discretion of supervisor, may assume responsibilities for other duties.
Infant and Early Childhood (IEC) Individual and Family Therapist: The therapist will provide infant early childhood mental health consultation to child development centers to promote the social-emotional development of children ages 0-5. This encompasses a broad range of services, including training, coaching childcare staff, and providing consultation and resources to families. Note that the Infant/Early Childhood Program currently uses a hybrid model, meaning some of these services will be provided remotely, via teletherapy, 50% of the time. The Infant-Early Childhood Therapist will also provide therapy services to a caseload of clients up to age 17 and their families; this may include teletherapy, the other 50% of the time. The position is responsible for providing psychotherapy/counseling services (individual/family/group/walk-in) as well as parent workshops and other clinical services. Depending on their experience, level of licensure and needs of the agency, they may be responsible for providing clinical supervision to students and staff.
Bilingual Client Service Specialist: The specialist is responsible for providing client reception and back office administrative support. This position opens and/or closes the building, welcomes clients, collects payment, directs phone calls, coordinates volunteers, and supports other administrative tasks such as correspondence and entering and maintaining client and volunteer data according to accreditation and regulatory compliance standards and assisting with hospitality duties.
