Who We Are

We are a group of social workers, psychologists, therapists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, case managers, fundraising professionals, administrators, educators, parents, and board members who are passionate about improving the lives of children and families in Central Texas. 

At Austin Child Guidance Center we envision a world where every family’s mental health needs are seen and met. 

We address these needs through our 3-pillar service approach of Care & Treatment, Empowerment and Community Education. 

Care & Treatment 

We provide high-quality mental health Care and Treatment through our Clinical Services Program which includes individual & family therapy, group therapy, psychological services/assessments, and psychiatric services.   

Professional Development and Training 

Through our Training Institute, we provide comprehensive training to our staff, clinical interns, and post-doctoral fellows who are the next generation of mental health professionals in our community; and we provide corporate and nonprofit training and consultation.   

Community Education 

We educate, engage, and serve as a resource within our community through parent workshops, panel discussions, podcasts/videos, resource guides, community presentations, and our agency blog.  

 We are accredited by The Joint Commission.
