Join the Austin Marathon 2025: Run, Fundraise or Volunteer

Your participation in the Austin Marathon—whether by joining Team ACGC, fundraising, or volunteering—plays a crucial role in helping ACGC continue to provide vital mental health services to Austin and the greater 10-county Central Texas region, including individual, family, and group therapy; psychiatric evaluations and psychological assessments; parent education; and the training of current and future mental health professionals.

Your support for ACGC at the 2025 Austin Marathon in particular will help ACGC during a crucial time of growth as we work to:

1. Expand Preventative Services: We’re focused on serving more families whose children are experiencing sadness and hopelessness before symptoms escalate into more severe mental health issues.

2. Address Substance Use Issues: With the rise in substance use disorders and drug-related deaths among youth, we aim to enhance support services to prevent, detect, and address these challenges within families.

3. Extend Care: We plan to retain clients in care until age 26, ensuring they don’t lose access to crucial services during a critical period of their development. 4. Increase Accessibility Across Central Texas: As Austin continues to grow, so does the need for mental health services in surrounding counties. We are committed to providing in-person, local services across the entire 10-county Central Texas region.

Spread the word to friends, family, and fellow runners to join you in raising awareness for children’s mental health and empowering children and their families across our community. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.
