Double Your Impact: Join Our August $50K Matching Donation Challenge

At Austin Child Guidance Center (ACGC), we've been committed to providing accessible mental health services Central Texas for over 70 years. With the steadfast support of donors, we’ve positively impacted the lives of thousands, helping children and families navigate mental health challenges and empowering them to thrive.

Our Mission and Impact

Founded in 1951, ACGC stands as Austin’s original children’s mental health nonprofit. We offer a comprehensive range of services, including therapy, assessments, and professional training, all aimed at ensuring every child has access to the mental health care they deserve. Over our long history, we’ve served over 130,000 children and trained more than 650 mental health professionals, solidifying our role as a cornerstone in the community.

An Opportunity to Make a Difference

We invite you to participate in a unique opportunity. In response to ACGC’s vision for strategic growth, a group of generous donors has pledged to match all contributions up to $50,000 through the end of August. This means every dollar you donate will be doubled, effectively amplifying your impact on the lives of children and families in need.

Our Urgent Need and Growth Plans

The demand for our services continues to grow, and with it, our need for strategic funding. Your contribution today, which will be matched dollar for dollar, is vital to supporting our growth strategy. Here’s how your support will make a difference:

1. Expanding Preventative Services: We’re focused on serving more families whose children are experiencing sadness and hopelessness before symptoms escalate into more severe mental health issues.

2. Addressing Substance Use Issues: With the rise in substance use disorders and drug-related deaths among youth, we aim to enhance support services to prevent, detect, and address these challenges within families.

3. Extending Care: We plan to retain clients in care until age 26, ensuring they don’t lose access to crucial services during a critical period of their development.

4. Increasing Accessibility Across Central Texas: As Austin continues to grow, so does the need for mental health services in surrounding counties. We are committed to providing in-person, local services across the entire 10-county Central Texas region.

To continue serving our current clients and to expand our capacity to meet the evolving needs of our region, we need your support. To learn more about how your support will impact ACGC’s future and children’s mental health in Texas, make sure to read our investor prospectus

Join Us in Making a Lasting Difference

We encourage you to consider making a donation before the end of August to take full advantage of this matching opportunity. Your support will not only be doubled, but it will also directly contribute to our strategic growth, helping us reach more children and families in need.

Together, we can create a profound and lasting impact on the lives of children facing mental health challenges in Central Texas. Thank you for your continued support and commitment to ACGC’s mission.
